2.I think the most important types of media in my life is music, films and books. Music is important in my life because its something that I can connect withand use to reciprocate my emotions and feelings. Films are something in my life that I use for entertainment and to get away from the real world. 
The last type of media that is important to me is books. This is important to me because I enjoy reading and its also a get away from the real world. Reading can bring perfect situations to life and gives the story a new perspective because I have to use my own imagination to picture the story and characters.
3.I think our modern pop culture has become more of a joke then anything. People make up stories and start rumors more then ever because of how many different places there are to get information. Another thing is a lot of the programs on television are about the same thing just changed the littlest bit so they can make a new show about it. I like a lot of the new technology that is made for us to communicate in different ways. For example skype, I think that it’s great, especially for people who move away or live far away but still want to talk to people in other places. It makes it more personal and connected then texting or emailing. I dislike the majority of televisions programs. There are two extremes in television, you either have the "Reality" shows (which really aren’t that real ironically) or the remakes of old shows, such as 90210. I use media to communicate with people, as well as entertainment and my way of getting information and news about what’s going on in the world as well as in my community. 
Desert Island Choices
My first choice would be music, specifically the album Scars and Stories by The Fray. This album means a lot to me because I can connect emotionally to the songs and I can convey my feelings through them. As well I can relate to a majority of the songs and the story they are telling.
The second choice would be novels. The book The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite. This is a book I can read over and over again and never get sick of. It’s a love story and is something I can enjoy and can use to get away from the real world. It’s a story that could actually happen instead of the cheesy, typical love story and I think that’s why I enjoy it so much
The last thing that I would want would be televison. I think that television shows interest me so much because it draws me in easier than a movie. It’s something that comes on once a week and you seem to know the characters life and want to continue to see what happens next. My favorite show is Teen Wolf. I like this show because it’s different from every other show on television and I really enjoy the fantasy aspect of it. I think that I can connect to it because they are the same age as me but they are living a totally different life from mine and that’s what attracts me to the show.
